Alberta Separation Referendum Results
One of the biggest questions on the ballot concerns Alberta’s future within Canada.
Question 10 asks whether Alberta should remain a province of Canada or whether the provincial government should begin the legal process required to hold a binding referendum on Alberta separating from Canada.
Voters have two options:
- Option 1: Remain in Canada.
- Option 2: Begin the legal process to hold a binding referendum on separation.
The results for Question 10 will be counted and reported first, before the remaining nine referendum questions.
